(Please excuse my face, I was commenting on how the camera wouldn't fire when it finally did >.<)

We arrived at the preview a little too early, so we decided to tour around the mini exhibition of new and exclusive products that would be sold/exhibited at STGCC 2013.

Hideo Baba, producer of "Tales of...", talking about his latest instalment in the game, Tales of Xilia

Taken from Wikipedia
"Tales of Xillia (Japanese: テイルズ オブ エクシリア Hepburn: Teiruzu obu Ekushiria?) is a Japanese role-playing game released for the PlayStation 3 on September 7, 2011 in Japan. It is developed by Namco Tales Studio and published by Namco Bandai Games. It is the thirteenth core product of the Tales series. The game was localized for North America on August 6, 2013 and Europe on August 9, 2013.
The game takes place in a fictional world called Rieze Maxia and follows Jude Mathis and Milla Maxwell. The two discover a military research that involves spirits and will endanger the world. The plot's central theme is Yuruginaki shinnen no RPG (揺るぎなき信念のRPG, lit. "RPG of Unwavering Convictions").
The game's reception in Japan was highly positive. It broke previous records for most pre-orders in the Tales series and sold over half a million copies in a week. During Sony's Playstion Awards, Tales of Xillia received the gold prize and ranked in the top ten for the User's choice award.[6] The sequel, Tales of Xillia 2, was released on November 1, 2012."

An excerpt from his biography from STGCC
"Hideo BABA is the General Producer of the Tales of series, one of the most critically acclaimed J-RPG franchises.
Tales of Xillia, has encountered a great success, shipping over 600 000 units on PlayStation®3 only during the first week following launch.
This remarkable episode was released to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the franchise in Japan. The awaited Tales of Xillia is coming on the 9th of August on Europe with an exclusive Collector’s Edition and a special day one edition."

Group interview with the gorgeous and talented Vampy Bit Me from USA and pretty Aza from Korea.

Vampy gamely giving me a smile when I had the camera trained on her.

All in all, it was a really fun and informative preview, giving us a chance to interact with the guests before they go on their busy schedules on Saturday and Sunday.

We'll be uploading the interviews soon, so stay tuned for them~

See you this weekend!

~Emi
